Earthquake and a Hurricane

Everything is a-ok here.The earthquake was nothing (though I did get to leave work early- lets hear it for working in a 100+ year old building).   And the Hurricane, Irene felt the need to know out the power, for about 12 hours, so nothing as well.

I did discover that my dog has excellent survival skills, in the event of an earthquake, he runs like hell according to my roommate, unlike her cat which cowered under the bed and would not come out to evacuate.  I think dogs are the smarter animal, Just sayin...
