My sister has moved out!

Yea!  She is gone off to school in NJ (she is going to freeze her hind quarters off-she is transferring schools from TX). She was living with me for four months, imagine sharing your space with a 20year old girl for 4 months.... shudder.

I love her but boy, I NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER want to have to share a room with her again. She drives me batty.

anyway, now that I don't have a full sized bed and a queen sized bed in my room taking up just about every square inch of free space, I have started the process of finally (after living in my new apartment for 6 weeks) putting my bedroom together.   I have push and shoved and tried different combos and came up with this (please ignore the poor quality, my camera phone is not optimal):

I tried the bed under the window but it just doesn't work and I can't place it on the closet side as there are double doors that swing out from the closet. 

I still need to get a new comforter, some shelves, new shades and the bed frame I want but this is an improvement from the dorm like situation I was working with before.


PS.  I hate making the bed, this is as made as it gets, so don't judge.
